The third 60 metre Amels 200 Limited Edition in-build superyacht has begun outfitting.

Construction is proceeding to schedule at the yard’s Vlissingen based facility despite the impact of COVID-19 measures adopted by the builder.

This has seen the yard team work to reduce contact to a minimum while other staff, including engineers and designers, are working from home. The yacht remains on track for a 2021 delivery.

Managing director Rose Damen said: “The health and wellbeing of those working at the yard is our top priority.

“So the arrival of this new hull shows a great determination and adaptability from everyone involved including our suppliers. It gives me a lot of confidence that we will get through this crisis in our industry together.”

Designed by Tim Heywood, this latest Amels 200 superyacht will feature custom interiors penned by Laura Pomponi, a first-time collaboration for the yard.
